SCOTT WOLFER
P.E., Owner
Scott Wolfer is a Professional Engineer in Colorado with over 10 years of consulting experience. Scott earned a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 2012. After graduating, he worked at a consulting firm in Houston, Texas before moving to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2016. There, he continued to consult with another firm for 8 years where he worked on numerous commercial, educational, and institutional projects gaining significant experience in steel, concrete, and masonry design. His experience spans all stages of the design process, from conceptual conversations through construction documents and completed construction. In 2024, after seeing a niche that could be filled in the construction industry with structural items that were delegated for design by a specialty engineer, Scott decided to start his own company. He’s an asset to the construction industry, respected for his expertise and commitment to his clients.
In his spare time, Scott loves camping and hiking with his wife, two children, and three dogs. He's also an avid fisherman and golfer. His family-orientated activities and hobbies keep his bond with his wife and children strong, setting a great example for his young family.

Wolfer Engineering LLC is a provider of stairs, handrails, and other delegated designs. We work with the steel fabricator through the shop-drawing process and provide sealed calculations and drawings.
